Get the best Chester racing odds for the Dee Stakes and find out which horses are favourites to win this encounter over one mile, two and a half furlongs

The bookies regard the Dee Stakes as a wide open encounter considering four of the five runners are trading at a relatively short price. God’s Window is likely to go off as favourite and there is plenty to recommend a horse that has the highest official rating and there was a success for this runner last time out.

However, there could be more to come from Jayarebe who has the potential to run a big race for Brian Meehan, with Sean Levey on board a runner who was also successful in a previous outing. Bracken’s Laugh was also successful in the last race and Richard Hughes trains a three-year-old with definite potential.

2024 Dee Stakes Tips

The going is set to be good at Chester Racecourse for the Boodles Raindance Dee Stakes, with this listed race set to take place over one mile, two and a half furlongs. God’s Window runs for John & Thady Gosden and the three-year-old was last seen beating two other contenders at Nottingham Racecourse when triumphing by eight lengths.

Previously to this, the horse finished third out of seven runners at Doncaster Racecourse and this came after a triumph at the same track, with the next best contender potentially being Jayarebe who was also successful last time out. The three-year-old runs for Brian Meehan and came good at Newmarket back in April.

Sent off as an 11/1 chance in the bet365 Feilden Stakes, the horse was able to secure a win by over three lengths in a one mile, one furlong encounter. This came after a solid enough outing in the Qatar Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere over seven furlongs, with Sean Levey now on board a runner who is priced similarly to Bracken’s Laugh.

Richard Hughes trains a runner who was victorious last time out, with Finley Marsh on board a horse who was successful on the all-weather at Chelmsford in early April. The three-year-old started his career when landing a Newbury success before running in a more competitive heat at Saint-Cloud.
