2025 Kingston Stud Handicap Hurdle Tips
East India Express is a horse with bags of talent and the six-year-old performed pretty well at the Cheltenham Festival. The six-year-old finished seventh in the Martin Pipe Conditional and it was a solid effort, with that coming after consecutive wins. There was previously a success at Kempton Park as the 5/4 favourite, with that coming after a success at Ascot.
First Street is still awaiting a victory this season although there have been some bright displays. Nicky Henderson saddles an eight-year-old who ran fairly well at Kempton when finishing second in a handicap chase over two miles and two furlongs. The horse also ran well at the same track on Boxing Day and could go close here.
Moon D’Orange was pulled up in the Jack Richards Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, although that can be attributed to a jumping error. Perhaps it’s worth chancing the horse this time around, with an impressive win coming at the same track in January. That came in the Betfair Exchange Handicap Chase.
Montecam is another Nicky Henderson-trained runner who has genuine claims to land a victory. The six-year-old was fourth out of nine horses at Newbury when being just two lengths off the pace, with the last success coming at Hereford twelve months ago. Spirits Bay is trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies and Typhoon Flyer won last time out.

Spring Note looks set to go off as favourite to win the Kingston Stud Handicap Hurdle, with the horse bidding for a consecutive hat-trick of wins. Nicky Henderson saddles a horse that was able to claim a win at Newbury Racecourse over the festive season before returning to the same track and winning on heavy ground last month.
That victory was achieved over two miles, half a furlong, with the previous success enjoyed by sixteen lengths. However, the betting market is wide open for this race and Sea Invasion is a horse that merits respect after a triumph last time out. Chris Gordon saddles a runner who was able to secure a victory at Plumpton at the end of March.
The 7/2 favourite was able to claim the spoils in a handicap hurdle on that occasion, with this coming over two miles, four and a half furlongs. The horse has the added advantage of having run at Cheltenham before, even if the runner finished fifth out of seven runners back in November.
Titan Discovery has achieved a string of wins and runner-up spots so far in his career, with the Robbie Llewellyn-trained runner potentially well weighted for this contest. There was a second-placed finish at Kempton Park last time out after a win at Sandown Park, while Kamsinas enjoyed a smart win at Kempton a few weeks ago.
