2024 Blandford Stakes Tips
Purple Lily has only won one of her four outings this season, although the three-year-old is the favourite to win this race on Sunday. The three-year-old was last seen finishing third out of fourteen runners, with this being a strong performance in the Irish Oaks when hitting the frame in an encounter that saw You Got To Me and Content finish ahead of her.
American Sonja has been knocking on the door in the past couple of races, with the filly having finished second out of five runners at Deauville, with this effort coming in the Sumbe Prix Jean Romanet. It was a great performance considering that 1/5 favourite Mqse De Sevigne could only land a victory by a head.
Elizabeth Jane comes next in the betting, with the three-year-old having finished fourth last time out. Dermot Weld will hope for a star performance this time around, with the horse returning to the Curragh after landing a place in the frame in the Irish Oaks. She was only one and a half lengths behind Purple Lily.
Caught U Looking runs for Noel Meade and the three-year-old was able to finish third last time out, with that effort coming in the Royal Whip Stakes where Continuous obliged as the odds-on favourite. However, the former was only three lengths off the pace and we think this is a viable each-way option for the upcoming race.
