Cherry Blossom is a talented sort who could be a popular bet for the Goffs Million, with the two-year-old having finished second at York Racecourse last time out. Ryan Moore gave the horse a tremendous spin only to lose by a length to favourite Relief Rally and this came after an Irish Maiden success over six furlongs at the Curragh.
Persian Dreamer has claimed two wins this campaign and the latest effort was beating three other runners on the July course at Newmarket. Beating favourite Star Of Mystery was something of a shock, with the American-bred runner having landed a Maiden Fillies’ Stakes at the beginning of the season to set it on the right path.
Manhattan Mirage is hard to work out after just one outing, with the horse finishing third out of eight runners at Ffos Las. This was in a maiden stakes race over six furlongs, with My Mate Alfie having more to recommend him. There was a runner-up performance at Roscommon last time out after a Maiden victory at Down Royal.
Guildenstern runs for trainer Joseph G Murphy and was able to score a second placed finish last time out, with the horse capable of going one better here. Juxtaposition also has solid credentials for the Goffs Million after winning an Irish Maiden race over one mile on soft ground. This was at the end of July and there could be more to come.
