2024 Oak Tree Stakes Betting Odds at Goodwood racecourse

The bookies are finding it hard to split Fast Response and Jumbly, with the former making a speedy return to the track for this race on Day Two of Glorious Goodwood. Jumbly is the other horse trading at a similar price although this looks to be a good each-way betting race and it’s worth checking out the latest odds boosts in search of value.

Matilda Picotte has been able to perform well this season and she could be able to oblige as a winning three-year-old, with White Moonlight having had the winning feeling recently and there could be a strong showing from Breege along with Dream Of Love. Olivia Maralda and Magical Sunset can’t be discounted either.

2023 Oak Tree Stakes Tips

Fast Response could go really well over seven furlongs, with K R Burke training a talented runner who has turned in some impressive performances this season without landing a victory. The horse was runner-up at Chester in mid-July when the runner was beaten by less than a length and the four-year-old might have suffered when being squeezed out of the reckoning.

Jumbly has run well on both outings this season, with the horse finishing second in the Lanwades Stud Stakes over one mile and the four-year-old was edged out by Just Beautiful. The runner was then sent off as the 10/3 co-favourite in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes when finishing fourth over one mile on good ground.

Matilda Picotte has failed to win a race this season although she was strong when finishing fourth in a recent clash at Haydock Park in a race which was won in convincing fashion by Little Big Bear. She was an impressive performer previously when finishing third in the Epsom Oaks when being sent off at larger betting odds of 33/1.

White Moonlight comes into the race bidding to land a consecutive hat-trick, with the Saeed bin Suroor-trained runner having scored at Musselburgh and Chelmsford, the latter of which came on the all-weather. Over seven furlongs, the runner was able to score for jockey Kieran Shoemark and the six-year-old could be capable of landing the spoils.
