The horse was sent off at odds of 80/1 in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle and struggled to make an impact, although there could be plenty to offer in a less competitive race at Haydock Racecourse, with Carzola the next horse in the betting. The four-year-old has bags of talent and has enjoyed three successive wins.
The Ralph Beckett-trained charge was able to recently win a handicap at Doncaster when fending off the challenge of three other rivals, while there were previously victories on the all-weather at Lingfield. The horse looks capable of running a big race over two miles and should be suited to the trip along with the going.
Law Of The Sea doesn’t have fantastic form to write home about, although the Ian Williams-trained runner has been respected by the layers for this encounter, with the horse outrunning his odds at 40/1 when competing in the Chester Cup over two miles, two and a half furlongs on soft ground.
