2025 Adonis Juvenile Hurdle Betting Odds at Kempton Park racecourse

Saturday, 22 February 2025

We’re counting down to the Cheltenham Festival, although there are still some notable horse races before we get to the action in March. Lulamba could be a star performer at Prestbury Park and the four-year-old has landed a couple of smart successes this season, with Nicky Henderson saddling a runner who is currently trading at odds-on.

Mondo Man can’t be easily ignored and the Gary & Josh Moore-trained charge might benefit from carrying five pounds less than the market leader. Palladium is lightly raced but highly respected in the market, with Opec having secured three notable successes this term before running into seventh last time out.

2025 Adonis Juvenile Hurdle Tips

The Ladbrokes Adonis Juvenile Hurdle takes pride of place on the Kempton Park racecard on Saturday, with a number of JCT Triumph Hurdle entrants potentially warming up for the race by taking part in this two-mile encounter. Nicky Henderson is no stranger to success at Cheltenham and he saddles Lulamba who has produced a number of eye-catching displays already.

The last effort saw Lulamba claim a notable success at Ascot in the middle of January, with the 4/5 favourite landing a success by over three lengths. That was in a juvenile hurdle over nearly two miles, with this coming after a maiden victory at Auteil over two miles and two furlongs, although Mondo Man didn’t finish too far behind at Ascot.

Gary & Josh Moore train a runner who was seen racing at Ascot last summer when finishing fourth out of fourteen horses. In the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes at the royal meeting, the horse performed well on the flat when sent off as a 25/1 chance. That was over one mile and four furlongs, with the longer distance over hurdles likely to be fine for this charge.

Palladium is another Nicky Henderson-trained runner who was able to land a success at Huntingdon in his latest outing. That was against nine other horses when sent off as the 8/15 favourite and that was the first appearance in the UK after some formative years in Germany. Opec is the other horse trading at single figure odds but has more to find here.
