2023 Newbury Handicap Hurdle Tips
Ramo could run well in the Play Coral "Racing-Super-Series" For Free Handicap Hurdle, with the Venetia Williams-trained runner having won last time out. The six-year-old was able to triumph at Ludlow over two miles and five furlongs, with this win coming at the beginning of November and there were two victories in the previous season.
Hoe Joly Smoke could be the pick of the five-year-olds and Dan Skelton saddles a horse who was third last time out when running in a field of sixteen horses. It was a solid enough performance over two miles, three-and-a-half furlongs, with Hyland another runner that needs to be respected after achieving consecutive victories.
Nicky Henderson was able to see his charge secure a win against nineteen other rivals at Cheltenham recently, with this coming in the Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle. Sent off at odds of 9/1, the runner was able to achieve a two-length victory and this came after previously obliging in a handicap hurdle at Warwick Racecourse.
Uncle Bert was a faller at Cheltenham Racecourse on his last appearance, with the horse sent off as favourite in that particular encounter although perhaps he will bounce back with a victory here. Previously, the horse was able to secure fourth place at Chepstow in the Silver Trophy Handicap Hurdle on heavy ground.
