Meydan has quickly transformed into one of the principal racecourses in the world, with this track hosting a large number of high profile races. This includes the Dubai World Cup which was inaugurated in 1996 and takes place over 2,000 metres, with a purse of around $12 million available in prize money.

We have seen Mystic Guide, Country Grammer and Ushba Tesoro as some of the recent Dubai World Cup winners, with Thunder Snow having landed back to back successes in 2018 and 2019. There is also the chance to get Meydan betting odds when it comes to the Dubai Golden Sheehan and some of the recent outings have been won by Zenden, Switzerland and Sibelius.

The Dubai Sheema Classic has been a popular betting race for several years, with Mishriff, Shahryar and Equinox some of the recent four-year-olds who have walked away with the big prize, while jockey William Buick holds the record for landing the most victories and he has triumphed on four occasions.

Customers are also able to bet on the Dubai Turf race where the runners and riders compete over 1,800 metres, with Lord North having landed a spate of recent successes.
