2023 Duke of Edinburgh Handicap Tips
Al Nafir has previously shown some strong form, with the four-year-old potentially well weighted to land a victory at the 2023 Royal Ascot meeting on Day Four, with the horse last seen winning at Newmarket back in October. This was in the bet365 Old Rowley Cup Handicap when edging an encounter over one mile and four furlongs by a neck.
The horse previously finished sixth in the Lavazza Stakes at Ascot in early September, with the runner also performing well in the Sky Bet Melrose Handicap, although this is an open contest where Peace Man has solid credentials, with John & Thady Gosden having a runner who is bidding to score a third successive victory.
Sent off as the 11/4 favourite in a recent handicap race at Windsor Racecourse, the horse won by three lengths over one mile and two furlongs, with the runner having previously obliged at the same track when scoring a victory on soft ground when obliging over one mile and two furlongs at much bigger odds.
Teumessias Fox can also land a consecutive hat-trick of wins by obliging at Royal Ascot, with the latest success coming in early May when winning at Newmarket. In the Howden Handicap, the runner was able to triumph by over three lengths and there was some good horses beaten that day which makes the horse a stand-out contender here.
