Matthew's Top Tips for Racing Betting

Follow the Market Movers

You'll often see a swell of money for a horse shortly before the off. These runners don't always win although the price changes are worth noting. It's often talk from the paddock from trainers and other staff that set the wheels in motion. Also look out for horses who are friendless in the market.

Grab the Bookmaker Offers

Racing-Odds.com always have the best free bets from the bookies. Make sure you take advantage of the new customer deals. They're an excellent way of getting started with an operator and there can also be great promotions as an existing bettor.

You Don't Have to Bet on Every Race

It's better to be selective and only bet on the horses where you have strong market confidence. While there's a temptation to wager on each race, it can be more profitable to sit out certain heats and wait for the right opportunity to bet.
