The quality racing keeps coming on Friday at Epsom Downs. The fourth race on the Oaks card takes place over a mile and two furlongs, with Sallaal and Respond trading among the favourites. The former was runner-up on a seasonal debut for Roger Varian, although slight preference is for the latter seeing as the horse has landed two wins in the space of four performances this term.

The Diomed Stakes is the third race on Friday's Epsom card, with Persica trading as the favourite to oblige over a mile and half a furlong. The Richard Hannon-trained charge could prove too strong for the field, although there are plenty of alternatives who can score at a bigger price. This includes Boiling Point who was a winner last time out.

The Epsom Oaks racecard continues on Friday, with the Woodcote Stakes being the second encounter of the day. There are six furlongs to tackle and the going is expected to be good, with Star Prospect currently heading the market. The two-year-old has already raced twice although perhaps Hickory Lad can benefit from getting three runs under his belt.

In a Class 3 handicap at York, the horse continued solid progress by finishing fourth out of seventeen. The runner performed well on good ground and could give a good account of themselves at Epsom in this one.</p>

Some of the most talented three-year-old fillies in the world battle it out at Eagle Farm Racecourse, with Amokura, Socks Nation and You Wahng having obliged with victories in the past three years.

We're looking forward to the Queensland Derby, with Accidental Bid emerging as the favourite to win this race at Eagle Farm Racecourse. It's a historic race, with Kovalica, Warmonger and Maison Louis among the recent winners of this encounter. Monopolistic and Providence are other strong contenders for this race.

The 2026 BRC Sires' Produce Stakes takes place on Saturday 30 May, with a number of leading contenders battling it out over 1,400 metres. It's a Group Two encounter where some of the leading two-year-olds battle it out. Blind Raise is regarded as the most likely winner, with The Next Episode also having strong credentials.
