2024 King Charles III Stakes Tips

The King Charles III Stakes is always a highlight when it comes to the Royal Ascot meeting, with Big Evs having clocked up three wins ahead of this five furlong encounter. The latest success came at York in May when the three-year-old was able to oblige as the 4/7 favourite in a listed race, with previous wins coming at Santa Anita and Doncaster.

There was plenty to like about his success in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint where the 16/5 chance was able to fend off a competitive field, while that came after a Doncaster success where the runner obliged over five furlongs in the Flying Childers Stakes. The only blot on the copybook was a previous run at York where the horse finished near the back.

Asfoora has solid claims and the Henry Dwyer-trained horse was last seen finishing fourth in the Kia Ora Galaxy at Rosehill. It was a solid showing in Australia, with the overseas raider having also run well at Caulfield when finishing just a length off the pace. The five-year-old could well make an impact in this race.

Bucanero Fuerte is a three-year-old with plenty of ability, with Adrian Murray training a charge who was able to claim a success last time out. The horse claimed a victory against five other runners at Naas over six furlongs, with Chain Of Lightning another Australian contender who has won at Rosehill and Randwick recently.
