2025 Wynnstay Handicap Hurdle Betting Odds at Bangor-on-Dee racecourse

Saturday, 22 March 2025

There are a total of sixteen runners set to go to post in the Alfa Aggregates Products Handicap Hurdle on Saturday, with the action taking place at Bangor-on-Dee. The runners and riders will compete over two miles, three and a half furlongs, with Nusret fitting the right sort of profile to win the encounter, with this looking like a good each-way betting encounter.

Aurigny Mill has produced some smart performances this term, with Robert Walford’s eight-year-old having enough experience to perform well in Wales, while Wilful will look to bounce back after being pulled up last time out. C’Est Different was able to oblige twice in the previous two showings and also has to be considered.

2025 Alfa Aggregates Products Handicap Hurdle Tips

There are any number of horses who can land a victory in the Alfa Aggregates Products Handicap Hurdle, with Nusret likely to go off as favourite. There’s plenty to be done in order to win an encounter over two miles, three and a half furlongs, with the Nicky Henderson-trained charge will hope to shine after some promising showings at Galway and Ascot last summer.

Aurigny Mill was successful for trainer Robert Walford as recently as 18 January when claiming a victory at Taunton, with that coming as the 13/8 favourite over two miles and three furlongs. He was then sent off as favourite at the Somerset course a month later before being beaten into second place.

Wilful has a point to prove after being pulled up at Kelso at the beginning of March. The horse previously performed well at Ascot in January when finishing fourth out of eleven runners, with the charge having claimed a victory at Worcester in August. Let’s not forget that the horse was sent off as favourite in that Kelso encounter.

C’Est Different was able to claim successive wins recently and the five-year-old has the potential to go well for Sam Thomas once again. There was a success at Chepstow on 22 February when the horse was sent off as the 4/7 favourite and this came after a success at Carlisle five days previously, with this looking like winner material.
