2024 Glorious Stakes Betting Odds at Goodwood racecourse

Saturday, 03 August 2024

We’re looking forward to Saturday’s race at Goodwood including the Coral Glorious Stakes, with Aimeric having run well three times this season. The Roger Varian-trained runner could go off favourite, although Al Aasy is also among the leading contenders and Phantom Flight will come into this race off the back of a victory.

Relentless Voyager and Lion’s Pride can’t be ruled out either, with all five horses having a chance of recording a win. The ground is starting to dry out, with the betting market looking wide open and this is sure to be a competitive race where punters are able to get some value from whichever horse that they select.

2024 Coral Glorious Stakes Tips

All five of the horses lining up for the Coral Glorious Stakes are trading at single figure betting odds, with the bookies expecting a competitive clash over one mile and four furlongs. Aimeric hasn’t been out of the first two this season, with the horse having the five-year-old finishing second at Newmarket last time out.

That was being runner-up to King Of Conquest and it was the same horse that beat Aimeric earlier in June, with a victory coming at Lingfield in May. However, some might prefer the chances of Al Aasy who was second on his only run this term. This took place at Newbury where the runner was beaten by a length against Phantom Flight.

The latter will line up in this encounter, with George Scott training a five-year-old who was able to secure a one length success over one mile and two furlongs at Newbury, with the horse returning from a lengthy absence and looks all the better for it after failing to claim a victory in his previous six outings.

Relentless Voyager is a four-year-old with decent prospects and the horse was last seen finishing third out of five runners at York, with the charge performing well at the Knavesmire over one mile and six furlongs. This came after beating thirteen rivals at Epsom in the Long Shot Northern Dancer Handicap.
