2025 King Richard III Cup Handicap
There’s a six furlong stampede at Leicester Racecourse in the form of the King Richard III Cup Handicap, with this Saturday encounter attracting a large field of runners. Fine Interview was third in a seasonal debut this term and Hamad Al Jehani trains a horse who was able to land a couple of victories last season.
Dorney Lake was successful in a previous showing, with Michael Bell saddling a horse who is well handicapped. There was a win at Yarmouth in early April, with that coming by two lengths and there could be more to come from Completely Random. The four-year-old has solid credentials and the Harry Charlton-trained runner was a winner last time out.
The run at Southwell in early April saw the horse take to the all-weather really well. The success came by under a length and there was some bright form last summer. The horse was fifth in June when performing well in a field of twelve at Newmarket. That came after a runner-up spot out of seven horses in May.
Trilby was recently in the winners’ enclosure at Beverley. The horse was able to oblige against six other runners in the middle of April, with the runner previously achieving a midfield finish at Doncaster at the end of March. This horse is highly experienced although the win ratio has not been particularly strong.
