2024 Challenge Stakes Tips
Noble Dynasty is favourite to win the Challenge Stakes at Newmarket on 11 October, with the six-year-old having landed back-to-back victories before finishing eighth last time out. That was a three-length success, with the previous outing seeing the horse finish second out of fourteen over seven furlongs at Goodwood.
Great Generation was able to win on his last appearance when landing a victory at Doncaster in the middle of September, with this coming in the Sceptre Fillies’ Stakes which was a Group 3 encounter. That came after a disappointing showing in the ARC Prix Maurice de Gheest, with that poor effort coming over six and a half furlongs.
2023 Thoroughbred Challenge Stakes Tips
Audience is almost certain to be sent off as favourite to win the 2023 Thoroughbred Challenge Stakes, with the four-year-old having notched consecutive runner-up performances in recent weeks. John & Thady Gosden’s charge finished second to Sandrine in the Betfred Park Stakes after a surprise runner-up finish in the City of York Stakes.
The horse outran his odds of 20/1 to finish second behind favourite Kinross and could go well at Newmarket, with Shouldvebeenaring carrying two pounds less in this race over seven furlongs. The three-year-old is bidding for a first win of the season, with the horse most recently seen producing a solid performance at Longchamp.
In the Qatar Prix de la Foret over seven furlongs, the 35/1 chance was given a tremendous spin by Sean Levey over seven furlongs at the Paris track, with that come after stunning many racing fans by delivering a runner up spot at big odds of 50/1. That performance was in the Betfair Sprint Cup Stakes, where only a neck denied a victory.
Chindit could also fare well and the five-year-old enjoyed back-to-back wins at Haydock and Sandown this season.
