2025 Feilden Stakes Tips
Masai Moon will be a warm order with horse racing fans for Tuesday’s Feilden Stakes, with the horse having only run once and that was a victory last autumn. This came on the all-weather at Kempton, with the runner obliging as the 2/5 favourite and it was a comfortable enough win. However, that’s still not a lot of form on which to feed.
Perhaps Nightwalker is a more viable alternative and the last outing came at Newmarket when finishing third in a field of six. It was a solid outing in the Emirates Autumn Stakes where the 11/1 shot ran well to finish behind two shorter priced selections. Previously to this, there was a victory and the horse has an official rating of over 100.
Almeric might be considered as a decent each-way selection, with Andrew Balding saddling a runner who was able to win at York in October. This was a one-length success when sent off at betting odds of 2/1 and it came after a September performance at Sandown Park where the horse finished fourth in a field of eleven runners.
King Of Cities finished second at Newbury back in September and this came after a success at Chester at the end of August. It was a victory delivered over seven furlongs on that occasion, with that coming after a smart performance at Newmarket. This horse could end up being a decent each-way selection and there’s lots to like.
2024 bet365 Feilden Stakes Tips
God’s Window is one of the favourites to win the bet365 Feilden Stakes, with the three-year-old being the highest-rated horse in this field. There was a victory at Doncaster back in September and that came before finishing third out of seven runners at the same track a month later. The horse performed well on heavy ground on that occasion.
Narkez is bidding for a third consecutive victory and the latest success came at Saint-Cloud over one mile on heavy ground. This win came by six and a half lengths, with five other rivals fended off and the horse was previously successful at Clairefontaine, so there’s some obvious class from a runner who could go close.
Arabic Legend goes for K R Burke and it will be interesting to see what short of shape the horse is in when it comes to this encounter, with the horse having been away from the track since finishing second last at Newmarket. Chief Little Rock could be a better each-way option and the horse was second in the same race as Arabic Legend.
The horse was beaten by Ancient Wisdom on that occasion, although looks a backable each-way price when it comes to this encounter. The horse previously ran well in the Group Two Beresford Stakes and that came after a couple of strong showings at Leopardstown, with this horse representing the best bet of all.
2023 Feilden Stakes Tips
Intinso has only had one run although the three-year-old was impressive enough on the all-weather at Newcastle Racecourse for the bookies to install the horse at the head of the betting for the bet365 Feilden Stakes. Perhaps it has something to do with John Gosden training a runner who was expected to win a novice stakes over one mile on 24 October.
There could be some value alternatives to the market leader, with Bold Act having more experience under his belt. Charlie Appleby has two runners in the race, although Bold Act has won four races on the bounce and the latest of these took place at Chelmsford on the all-weather track at the beginning of April.
Last autumn, the horse was successful on a number of occasions in various nursery races although Appleby’s other runner in the race is not without a chance. Sent off as the 5/6 favourite to win a Novice Stakes at Newmarket Racecourselast October, the horse was able to land the spoils by a neck and there could be more to come from the three-year-old.
Blanchland make a seasonal debut and Jane Chapple-Hyam will be confident of a spirited showing, with Adam Kirby steering the charge to second placed when sent off at 12/1 in the Zetland Stakes at the beginning of October. Previously to this, there was a Maiden Stakes win on the all-weather track at Newcastle.
