There’s a big field set to line up in the Zetland Stakes, with Trinity College the favourite although the horse has only won one of his four outings this season. That came at Galway last month when landing a twelve length success, although the horse was then fourth out of five in the Group 2 Beresford Stakes at the Curragh.
Delacroix has performed well in all three outings to date and comes next in the betting, with the horse securing second spot in a maiden race at Leopardstown before winning at the Curragh in August when obliging as the warm favourite. Capulet has some decent form coming into Saturday’s race at Newmarket, with the horse most recently seen finishing third at the same course. Previously to this race, there was a second-placed finish in a Juvenile Stakes race at Leopardstown, with that coming after a Maiden win at Dundalk. Arabian Crown has scored back to back victories at Sandown and Salisbury, with the latter win coming in the Stonehenge Stakes where a victory of over two lengths was achieved over favourite Arabic Legend. Dambuster looks certain to run and the Andrew Balding-trained runner has a Sandown victory to his name which was recently achieved in September.
There was a Maiden Stakes win over one mile by a head, with Los Angeles having won an Irish EBF Maiden and that victory came by over two lengths.
