2026 Victoria Mile Betting Tips
Embroidery sets the benchmark when it comes to the Victoria Mile. We were really taken by the horse's performance in the Shuka Sho back in October. The filly performed best over one mile and two furlongs, with the horse able to score by half a length to land the prize money. However, the charge was unable to make an impression in the Hong Kong Mile at Sha Tin.
Kazutomo Mori saw his runner finish well down the order in that clash, although she clearly has plenty of pedigree. After all, we witnessed successes at Tokyo and Hanshin last time out, with the former of these wins coming in the Daily Hai Queen Cup. That one-mile success was followed by the Oka Sho success which was the Japanese 1000 Guineas.
Queen's Walk has failed to oblige in the past three outings, although the bookies still respect the chances of the Mitsumasa Nakauchida-trained charge. Back in March, we saw the runner land third in a field of fourteen when running well in the Hai Kinko Sho as the 13/5 favourite. There was also a second-placed finish in last year's Victoria Mile.
Kamunyak was distinctly below par when finishing third-last out of eighteen at Kyoto back in October. There was over eleven lengths separating the horse from Embroidery, although that had been preceded by three straight wins. That included a success at Hanshin where the 19/10 favourite was able to oblige and came before consecutive wins at Tokyo.
