Bet on Lots of Group 1 Races at Deauville Racecourse
The Prix Jacques Le Marois, Prix Jean Romanet, Prix Maurice de Gheest, Prix Morny, Prix Rothschild and the Prix Jean Prat are the leading Group 1 races that take place throughout the year at Deauville and you can find betting tips available for all these leading encounters.
The Prix Jacques Le Marois generally takes place in early August, with the race having been inaugurated in 1921 and this is a one-mile encounter where there’s a decent amount of prize money up for grabs. This race has become more prestigious recently due to the fact that it’s part of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge series.
The Prix Jean Romanet is a more recent race and the race cards for this encounter were introduced in 2004, with this being a 2,000 metre race for female horses aged four or older. After initially holding Group 2 status, the race was promoted to a Group 1 in 2009 and Satwa Queen remains the only horse to win the race twice.
When it comes to getting the best betting odds, many customers scan the different bookmaker websites before betting on the Prix Maurice de Gheest, a race which was won by Space Blues in 2020, with Polydream and Advertise among the other recent winners. This is a shorter distance of 1,300 metres and it always an exciting encounter.

We are keen to supply Deauville race cards for as many of the race meetings as possible, with the Prix Morny being a historic horse race which is open to two-year-old colts and fillies, meaning we see the most exciting potential superstars coming through the ranks. This is a six-furlong dash and there’s another large pot up for grabs.
There are Prix Rothschild betting tips available and this horse race takes place either in late July or early August, with this being a one-mile encounter which was established in 1929. The race was originally called the Prix d'Astarté and was renamed in 2008, with Goldikova the most successful horse in the race after triumphing on four consecutive occasions between 2008-2011.
The Prix Jean Prat is a seven-furlong dash which was set up in 1858 and this is for three-year-old horses which often go on to greater things. We have seen Pinatubo recently triumph and the race has only recently moved from Chantilly to Deauville.
