2023 Mares I.N.H. Flat Race Tips
Fancy Girl is bidding to make it a hat-trick of wins and the bookmakers are taking no chances with their prices about the Willie Mullins-trained runner. There was a solid performance on her last outing at Cork on 7 January, with the horse obliging as the 8/11 favourite on heavy ground when winning by two lengths. There might take a strong performance to stop her.
However, the majority of these runners are lightly raced and there might be more to come from Marie Philippe who is another talented five-year-old. Jessie Harrington’s runner claimed a victory in a field of thirteen horses and in a four-year-old fillies race at Fairyhouse last December and she looks like a credible operator.
Lily Du Berlais is a seven-year-old with more experience than many of her competitors. She was second in a flat race at Navan on 27 November, with the horse being the surprise winner of this race twelve months ago. Sent off at odds of 40/1, she was able to secure a narrow victory and perhaps she can repeat this achievement.
Bold Reflection runs for John C McConnell and the five-year-old scored a victory on her last outing when obliging at Limerick on Boxing Day. It was a two-mile encounter where she was able to score against some decent opposition. Perhaps this is the best each-way selection in the race and we look forward to seeing how the odds pan out.
