Bronte Cup Fillies Stakes Results at York — 31 May 2025

Saturday, 31 May 2025

The William Hill Bronte Cup Fillies' Stakes promises to be a thrilling spectacle, with a number of mares in with a lively chance of securing a victory. That includes the Ed Walker-trained Scenic who was second on her seasonal debut. The five-year-old could be battling it out with Term Of Endearment, although the six-year-old has plenty to find after her latest showing.

Divina Grace has produced a couple of solid performances this term and could end up running well, with Danielle and Sueno a couple of talented four-year-olds who might also be able to make an impression. Much depends on which horse can stay the course over one mile and six furlongs, with a strong test of stamina guaranteed.

2025 Bronte Cup Fillies' Stakes Betting Tips

Scenic produced a bright performance to finish second on her seasonal debut. Trained by Ed Walker, the five-year-old was a runner-up at Goodwood at the beginning of May. That was in the Daisy Warwick Fillies’ Stakes over one mile and four furlong. This performance came after a fourth-placed effort in the Park Hill Fillies’ Stakes at Doncaster.

Term Of Endearment is a six-year-old who is also among the favourites. William Haggas saddles a runner who was able to finish seventh out of ten runners at Meydan in a previous showing. It was a decent effort at odds of 20/1 on that occasion, with that coming after failing to oblige in the Qatar Prix de Royallieu despite being 2/1 favourite.

Divina Grace is available at a similar price and the Andrew Balding-trained horse also stands a reasonable chance of victory. She carries more weight than the other market leaders, although there was a success against six other runners at Newbury in a previous showing. The latest effort was third out of four horses at Newmarket.

Danielle is an experienced four-year-old who achieved back to back second-placed efforts towards the end of the previous campaign. Second place at Doncaster was a decent placing in a listed race back in November. This came after finishing second out of six horses in the St Simon Stakes at Newbury Racecourse.

2023 Bronte Cup Fillies' Stakes Tips

Mimikyu runs for the Gosden stable at York on Saturday, with the four-year-old hoping to pick up where she left off after a successful spell last year. Although the horse finished well down the pecking order in the Qipco British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes, this was a seriously competitive race and she might find things more favourable when lining up against these runners.

After all, there was plenty to like about a previous performance at Doncaster where Frankie Dettori rode the charge to success in the Coral Park Hill Fillies’ Stakes, with this victory occurring at the beginning of September where she was able to beat favourite Eshaada into second place by three lengths and that makes her a worthy market leader.

Luisa Casati runs for trainer Tom Ward and she was successful in a recent outing when obliging at Goodwood racecourse in early May. Sent off at 11/1, the horse was able to enjoy a triumph over one mile and four furlongs in a listed race, with Richard Kingscote able to steer the horse to victory ahead of race favourite Time Lock.

River Of Stars is also among the favourites and the four-year-old returns to the track for the first time this season, with the last outing for the Ralph Beckett-trained charge being the same Doncaster race that was won my Mimikyu. Previously to this came a win in the Chester Stakes against three other rivals and perhaps this is a good each-way bet.
